The law also removes the ban on the use of images of riders and horses in such commercials. The level of interest of Russians in eSports was checked by Mediascope as part of a special study. It turned out that about 11% of adult Russians show some interest in eSports:
- 5% – monitor eSports competitions;
- 4% – place bets on the outcome of eSports events;
- 2% – participate directly in eSports tournaments.
It is noteworthy that 74% of those Russians who are interested in eSports – they are young men.
At the same time, according to ERAI, the Russian Federation of Cybersports in the second quarter of this year rose to sixth place in terms of the amount of contributions received. Previously, the federation was in ninth place. At the same time, the total amount of deductions in support of eSports increased by 16%. The regulator reports that in the analyzed period, bookmakers accepted more than 850 million bets on eSports events, and the amount of payouts on winnings exceeded 653 million rubles.

The right to broadcast the main Dota 2 esports tournament in Russian was bought by the bookmaker BetBoom. According to esports commentator Vitaliy Volochay (V1lat) on his Telegram channel, this year the tournament organizer Valve decided to sell media rights, and not to provide an opportunity for all interested studios to broadcast the event on their platforms. The authorities of the Kaliningrad region set out to lease a number of plots in the Yantarnaya gambling cluster. The order is already in the public domain. According to the document, we are talking about five plots of 15 hectares, which are planned to be leased for 58 months. Potential tenant investors are offered:
- 1.4 hectare plot – for the construction of a five-star hotel with a casino and spa complex – starting price from 1.1 million rubles;
- 3.6 hectare plot – for the construction of a four-star hotel with a casino, spa and concert hall for a thousand seats – starting price from 2.68 million rubles;
- plot of 3.2 hectares – for the construction of a three-star hotel with a casino – starting price from 2.4 million rubles;
- 3.2 hectare plot – for the construction of a three-star hotel with a casino – starting price from 2.3 million rubles;
- 4.3 hectare plot – for the construction of a three-star hotel with a casino – starting price from 3.19 million rubles.
Last year, following the results of six similar auctions, only two ended with contracts. Four more auctions were disrupted.
Back in May of this year, the confrontation between Pari and the Federal Tax Service began. The bookmaker disputed the order of the tax authorities to pay 30 million rubles of earmarked contributions for the fourth quarter of 2021. The office did not pay deductions simply because it did not work during this period. Despite this, the court of first instance took the side of the Federal Tax Service and ordered the bookmaker to pay off the debts. However, the legal entity of the bookmaker Pari, the company “BK Pari” did not give up, filed an appeal and successfully defended it. The court withdrew from the bookmaker the obligation to pay 30 million rubles of targeted deductions and, moreover, ordered the Federal Tax Service to compensate BK Pari. 4.5 thousand rubles of expenses for the consideration of the case in court.
«Star Bet» wants to sue Sovcombank half a million rubles
Star Bet, which is a former legal entity of BetBoom/BingoBoom, registered a lawsuit against Sovcombank. As follows from the documents, the company wants to sue the bank for 500 & nbsp; 553.36 rubles.
