The legal entity of the Astrabet bookmaker has changed its name. Previously, the office belonged to Sportradar LLC. Now the company that owns a well-known betting brand in Russia is called Bet-M. The constituent documents officially changed on March 9, and information about this is in the official registry of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Recall that since October 2021, 100% of the company’s shares have been pledged to the legal entity of the bookmaker 1xStavka, and since the fall of 2022, technical work has been underway on the official website of the bookmaker. Accordingly, the office does not accept bets, and the prospects for its return to the Russian gambling market remain unknown.

“Liga Stavok” fined for violating advertising laws
The bookmaker received a fine from the Ingush OFAS Russia for inappropriate advertising. Despite the fact that Russian legislation prohibits gambling operators from using images of animals or people in their advertising, the bookmaker has neglected these requirements. BC “Liga Stavok” used the image of a woman to promote her services and launched an active advertising campaign on her website. This caused dissatisfaction with the Ingush OFAS.
The agency issued an order to stop the advertising campaign. However, the “League of Stakes” she did not agree with this decision and appealed to the Arbitration Court of Ingushetia, arguing her position by the fact that advertising in a mobile application is not intended for a wide range of people and only interested registered users see it. However, the court found that the ad still appears not only in the application, but also on the bookmaker's website. On this basis, the court confirmed the violation of the law, and even the appeal filed by the bookmaker was not satisfied. Now the “League of Stakes” faces severe fines for violating the Advertising Act.
PokerStars owner accused of bribing Russian officials
The US Securities and Exchange Commission announced that Flutter Entertainment is ready to pay $4 million in compensation for violating US securities laws papers. Violation is attributed to a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment – PokerStars.

In Russia, miners will be imprisoned for refusing to declare income

According to the new regulation, miners are required to provide all information about the mined digital currency to the tax authorities. Moreover, if a miner fails to declare income in the amount of more than 15 million rubles two or more times over three years, he will not only be fined up to 300 thousand rubles, but also go to jail for up to two years. If the amount of hidden income is more than 45 million rubles, the term of imprisonment may increase to four years, and the fine – up to 2 million rubles. Also, violators will face forced labor for up to two or four years, respectively.
