Today's news is less about gambling and more about technology. But we think it's groundbreaking, so we want to let you know about it. Tesla inventor Elon Musk presented the Tesla robot with market maturity at this year's keynote. To be precise, the model should be available in just under six months at a price of €20,000.
First model with humanoid look available from summer 2023
The technology of the Tesla vehicles is in the robot itself. As you can see from the video of the presentation, the robot walks upright, which has been one of the biggest difficulties in humanoid robots so far. At the same time, the movements are still a little slow. It has to be said here that there were presentation videos in which the robot carried out simple work in a factory, where maximum speed was not necessarily the point, but that the effort did not have to be done by a human. In another video, the robot recognizes flower boxes in an office building and supplies the plants with water. Put simply, the future of humanoid robots is here.
€20,000 is a house number that probably first appeals to agency owners and wealthy people. For advertising reasons alone, the part makes something in every modern agency. But the device can also support older people when it comes to household help. And those with an affinity for technology will buy the part simply because it is the first humanoid robot that is ready for the market. If you leave it in its original packaging and look after it, you are investing in a piece of contemporary technical history, which is likely to increase in value in the same way as a vintage car. For us casino players, the introduction of corresponding humanoid robots means that live casino studio operators, for example, could work with corresponding robot dealers or robot croupiers in the future.
This would significantly reduce the cost of personnel costs at the live studios and the games could be rented more cheaply. In offline casinos or restaurants, the robot will be able to take over simple operator tasks in the future. So far, such robots were fantasy. Now, in 2023, we seem to be getting to the point where they are arriving in reality.
